Note: I am an adult. I've noticed that there are a lot of people under the age of 18 on this site, so pointing out that I'm not is probably just good form. I'm an underemployed mathematician, who will be starting a post-Calculus Mathematics homework help site, while doing a little mathematical and digital art on this site.
My current profile image is in the public domain, having been found in a search that turned up
this image and
this page. It's a pretty image and helps to illustrate one of the wonderful things about the study of Mathematics - the subject opens so many doors - but it is not to be taken as being a sign of what is to come on this page. I do have an interest in Astronomy, and have taken to reading about it, but my knowledge of that subject is limited at the moment. Also, my area of specialization in Mathematics is Probability, so General Relativity is not an area of application that's likely to show up a lot in my work.
My current webcam image is from Wikipedia (and is also in the public domain). It shows the construction of the Koch snowflake curve. I'd be more embarrassed about the undeniable lameness of using this many downloads to decorate a page, but at this point, I'm wondering if DeviantArt is worth much more effort than this. Maybe it is, but very few of the people I've been meeting have made a positive impression on me, lately. I hope that will change, but I'll hardly be shattered if it doesn't.
